The short answer: a properly installed digital lock from a reputable brand is at least as secure as a traditional deadbolt, and often more so – most models include tamper alerts, auto-lock timers and encrypted app access. The bigger security risk with any lock, digital or not, is a poor installation, which is why we always fit and test the lock ourselves rather than leaving it as a DIY job.
